We used European Cake Gallery for our wedding cake at the San Diego Zoo Safari Park, and they were absolutely wonderful to work with. As an on-site vendor approved by the park, they handled all the logistics seamlessly, they take venmo etc — no stress on our end. The cake was stunning. We had the white bavarian sheet cake and my dream heart cake and swiss chocolate sheet cakes, and every guest raved about it — moist, flavorful, and not overly sweet. We also stole leftover cake for the next day (it was that good). It held up beautifully in the outdoor setting and looked incredible on the cake table. Several guests told us it was the best wedding cake they had ever had, but as the bride it was the best I ever had! If you're a San Diego couple searching for a wedding cake baker, especially for venues like the Safari Park, Balboa Park, or anywhere in OB or the greater San Diego area — European Cake Gallery is worth it. I recently ordered a cake from this company for my anniversary, and it was honestly so good. The flavor was a white chocolate with strawberry, and it was perfectly balanced-not too sweet just really delicious. The texture was soft and moist and you could really taste the quality. The best part of was that once it was frozen it tasted just like strawberry vanilla ice cream, which made it even more amazing and unique everyone loved it and it was definitely a hit. I would 100% order from them again.

12-27-2025 We had a 90th birthday celebration for my mother-in-law. For her cake, she specifically requested for Swiss Black Forest with white shavings from this place. Reason being, she liked it so much (she had a piece on my bday) and wanted more of it. I am glad she chose the cake from here; I haven’t had it for a while and enjoyed every bite of it on her bday and the next day! We ordered an 8”, serve 12 to 16 ppl for $65 plus $5 greeting. Note: Business hours 6:30am to 4:00pm, closed Monday and Sunday, plan accordingly; we made arrangements to pick the cake up the day before. It tasted delicious still!
